Local 890's web site is a non-profit internet site protected by copyright law and owned and maintained by USW Local 890L for the use of it's dues paying members. Access by the general public is also welcome.

Notice Of Legal Use

Notice to Salaried Employees, Officials, Staff Members and Other Agents of any corporation, commercial entity or organization that currently is entered into a bargaining agreement or whose employees are negotiating a bargaining agreement with USW Local 890L.

Information on Local USW 890L’s web site is NOT intended for the free use of salaried employees, officials, staff members, or any other agents of such corporations, commercial entities or organizations.

If you are a salaried employee, official, staff member, or any other agent of such corporations, commercial entities or organizations and you wish to access or reproduce copyrighted information within Local USW 890L’s web site, then you must purchase an annual subscription on a single user basis. A single user subscription costs five thousand dollars ($5,000) per year and may be obtained by contacting Local USW 890L’s acting president (see contact information for president of local).

Unauthorized copying, or access of copyrighted information within USW Local 890L’s web site is expressly forbidden and you may be held legally responsible for copyright infringement which is caused or encouraged by your failure to abide by the terms of this notice.

By unauthorized copying, or accessing the material managed and owned by USW 890L, without a subscription, you agree by that access or reproduction to pay five hundred dollars ($500) per page per incident of access or reproduction. You further agree to waive all rights to contest collection of any debt thereby incurred. You further agree to enter into this agreement on behalf of the entity on whose computer or through whose internet account your access was facilitated.

By accessing the copyrighted material of USW Local 890L you agree to allow USW Local 890L or it's agents to inspect the hard drive of your computer to determine the number of times the site was accessed according to the terms of this contract to enable assessment of amounts owed.

You shall indemnify and hold Local 890L, it's officers, members and agents harmless from and against any claim, demand, action or reprisal, irrespective of the nature of the claim, demand, action or reprisal, alleging loss, costs, damages, expenses, or injury (including injury from death) resulting from your authorized or unauthorized use, possession, modification, or alteration of the copyrighted material of USW Local 890L.

You further agree that by confronting any member of this local about any copyrighted material or by sharing any copyrighted material appearing in Local 890L’s web site you have willingly entered into the above agreement.
